Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-15

These terms form an agreement between you and the operator of tiok. By using this site you confirm that you have read and accepted every clause below. If you do not accept any part of it, please stop using the site.

1. What this service is

tiok takes a public TikTok post link and passes that post’s media files through our server to your device. It acts purely as a conduit.

  • We do not own any of the content that passes through this service.
  • We do not store the files you download. Media is streamed through in real time and never written to disk.
  • We do not index, archive, or publish anyone’s content.
  • We only reach posts that TikTok already serves publicly. We do not bypass privacy settings or authentication of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into this agreement under the law of your country. If you are a minor, you need your guardian’s consent before using the service.

3. Your responsibilities

All legal responsibility arising from your use of this tool rests with you alone. Before downloading anything, make sure you are entitled to do so.

  • You must own the work, have the creator’s permission, or have your use covered by an exception in the copyright law that applies to you.
  • Do not republish, commercialise, or claim authorship of downloaded content without permission.
  • Do not use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or invade the privacy of others.
  • Do not point automated systems, scripts, or bulk scrapers at this service.
  • Do not attempt to breach, probe, overload, or reach non-public parts of the system.
  • Do not use the service in any way that breaks the law that applies to you, or TikTok’s own terms.

4. Creators’ rights and takedown requests

Every video, image, sound, and caption that passes through this service belongs to its creator or another rights holder. The fact that this tool can deliver a file to you does not grant you any rights in that work.

This service stores and hosts nothing. Content that is deleted, made private, or restricted at its source on TikTok immediately becomes unreachable through this service as well.

Rights holders who want their work to stop being reachable should use TikTok’s own copyright reporting channels, since TikTok hosts the content. Acting at the source takes effect everywhere at once.

5. Availability and rate limits

We cap requests per IP address to keep the service usable for everyone, and may throttle, suspend, or block unusual traffic immediately and without notice.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. This tool depends on TikTok’s systems, which are outside our control; changes on their side can break it temporarily or permanently without warning.

6. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, freedom from errors, uninterrupted access, or that every link will resolve successfully.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service — whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss of business opportunity. This includes damages arising from your use of downloaded content in ways that infringe someone else’s rights.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless against any third-party claim, demand, or legal action arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

9. No affiliation with TikTok

This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, partnered with, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., or any of their subsidiaries. All names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referred to here for descriptive purposes only.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time and will update the date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a revision means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.

12. No contact channel

This service is provided as is with no user support. There is no email address, form, or other way to contact the operator, and no complaints or requests of any kind are accepted. If you need a contact channel, please do not use this service.
